The Atkins Diet Plan

The Basic Plan: The Atkins Diet Plan has a huge following and is based on no more than 20 grams of carbohydrates per day.  The Atkins Diet Plan is indeed a fad diet because it drifts away from the food pyramid guidelines as to the food combination that constitutes a healthy daily diet plan.

Recent news highlighting Dr. Atkins heart problems have placed many Carb Dieters in Carbo Limbo*. Whether the Atkins Diet Plan is eventually linked to heart problems remains in our Diet Future.

As a note, the folks at Dr. Atkins have discounted any ties to Dr. Atkins heart problems and the Atkins Diet Plan.
