If you're on a strict diet and are experiencing hair loss, odds are, the hair loss is due to the diet.  Years ago, when I dropped my huge chunk of weight, I started losing my hair by the handfuls.  It wasn't pretty....

A trip to my family doctor calmed my worried thoughts and the hair loss was eventually tied to my rigorous diet.

Example of how nutrients in foods work for the body: Jan discovers that her car is difficult to steer these days.  She is aware that cars use certain fluids, however, she must make it to the beach so that she can enjoy her summer vacation.

A few miles down the highway and Jan looses control of her car, ending up skidding down a sandy beach.  The culprit was lack of steering fluid in the car.

The body operates in much the same way, requiring certain nutrients in order to properly function throughout the day. Some vitamins and nutrients can be stored by the body while others cannot.
