The Sacred Heart Diet Plan

Supposedly, this diet plan will cleanse your system of impurities and pass on a feeling of well-being. Frankly, I'd rather burn a candle and drink champagne.

The weight loss promise? Drop 10 to 17 pounds in one week while maintaining an abundance of energy. Geese, bring on the wadders because it's getting pretty deep.

Soup recipe:

1-2 cans of stewed tomatoes
3 green onions, chopped plus 1 bunch of celery
1 cup of diced bell peppers - any color you like
1 large can of fat free beef bullion
1 package of Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup mix
2 cans of green beans, drained
2 pounds of quartered carrots
salt, pepper, parsley, hot sauce or herbs may be used to season soup

The diet soup is suppose to be used as a filler when the 'hungries' hit.  In fact, they claim the more you eat, the more you will lose.

Allowed Beverages:

 

all teas containing 0 calories
all coffees containing 0 calories
unsweetened juice
skimmed milk
water

Day 1 of the Sacred Heart Diet Plan

Only fruit and soup are allowed.

Day 2 of the Sacred Heart Diet Plan

Only vegetables and soup is allowed. However, the diet recommends that the dieter splurge by enveloping in a BIG baked potato with REAL butter. How generous....
