Here is a capsule of the South Beach Diet Plan:

    1.The first phase of the diet plan mocks the Atkins plan, greatly restricting carbs.

    2. The second phase of the diet plan mocks Sugar Busters & the Zone. And if you start gaining weight, then you're instructed to return to part one.

    3. The third part of the diet plan allows the dieter to eat almost anything they want BUT if weight gain occurs...that's right! Do not pass GO, do not collect $200 - go directly to phase one!

So why would a dieter want to do that? Obviously, if the dieter starts to regain the weight they just lost (due to a depletion of water in the body) then why would they want to continue the diet?  But obviously, there are some great success stories out there surrounding this popular fad diet, so again - it's just a choice that you'll have to make.  Is the South Beach Diet right for you?

Bottom Line:

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need a diet that will work from day 1 until the last day of your Official Diet. You need a diet plan that provides permanent weight loss. Doing Diet Time is H-E-double hockey sticks. Make it worth the pain and don't regain!
